| Our Guild President, Jim Nelson, entered his first ever piece into the
competition and won a 1st place ribbon. Congratulations Jim. He showed
us his jig for making the doors during our Guild Member Demonstration meeting,
but this wonderful cabinet is the final result. |
Jim Flynt entered this beautiful Curio Cabinet. While I was taking photographs
I heard several fair goers commenting on this piece. Jim earned a well deserved
1st place and Best of Show for this entry. |
 |
| Ernie Barta entered another one of his talented creations.
This dining table earned him a 1st place ribbon. |
 |
 |
| Charlie Kested showed us these snack tables at one of our
Guild meetings this past year. Now they have made their public debut and
in grand style at that. As you can see they have been adorned with a 1st
place ribbon. |

 |
| Mike Fucile entered this glass front display cabinet. His fine workmanship
earned him a 2nd place ribbon. |
Another entry by Ernie Barta was his quilt rack made from laminated layers
of various woods. Ernie earned a 2nd place finish for this piece. |

 |
| Bob Vinas built this delightful shoe hotel. His hard work earned him a
2nd place ribbon.. |
Charlie Kested earned another 1st place and another Best of
Show for yet another of his wonderful scroll work pieces. Charlie
should see about getting Mike fucile's display cabinet so he can display
all the ribbons he has won! |
 |
| This beautiful 3 dimensional intarsia piece by Charlie Kested
another 1st place! Hmmm maybe you should get Jim Flynt's curio cabinet to
display all these ribbons. Congratulations Charlie. |
